Clifton Farm is the perfect location for anyone wishing to enter into the hustle and bustle of York, while enjoying the peace and tranquillity of North Yorkshire

We pride ourselves on the excellence of our breakfasts, cooked to order on the range in our farmhouse kitchen - you can sit in the dining room and watch me cooking your breakfast! We offer a huge variety of local and homemade produce.

Enjoy a selection of our own eggs, and from our local butcher, bacon, black pudding and sausages. Even the tomatoes and mushrooms are all sourced locally or grown here on the Farm. To finish off your breakfast we offer homemade marmalade and jams, home baked breads and local honey. Try my homemade Yorkshire Scones with lemon curd. Vegetarians are also very well catered for from the big vege breakfast to quiches, homemade that morning, and baked beans.... come and see why our breakfasts are legendary!! The Jolly Farmers Inn, famed locally for its real ale and excellent food, is 3/4 mile away by road or a delightful 10-15 minute stroll through the fields or by the road.. torches supplied!! There is an abundance of other country Inns and Restaurants locally and I have tried them all so just ask for recommendations.

We are well served by the road network, the A1 and dual-carriageway A64 providing easy road links, enhanced by the opening of the A1/M1 link road. York Railway station provides the link with main line services - London to Malton in less than 3 hours. There is a direct train service from Manchester Airport to Malton.
